Griffin Barber

Griffin spent his youth in four different countries, learning three languages, and burning all his bridges. Finally settled in Northern California with a day job as a police officer in a major metropolitan department, he writes when he not working or watching his daughter play soccer. As a veteran officer of 17 years, he’s been around the block a few times, working uniformed patrol, plainclothes vice crimes, narcotics, robbery abatement, gangs, etc. The apocalypse is in his DNA, having written for the RPG Twilight 2013 and the forthcoming second Black Tide Rising anthology. His first novel,1636: Mission To The Mughals, co-authored with Eric Flint, is now out from Baen books.
